About L.A.W.
Law Around the World is a youth-led legal education platform helping young people understand the laws and systems shaping their lives.

Law affects nearly everything: our schools, communities, technology, governments, rights, and opportunities. Yet legal information is often written as though only experts should understand it.
L.A.W. turns complex ideas into clear, creative, globally minded learning experiences. We want young people to do more than memorize definitions. We want them to compare systems, question decisions, build arguments, and recognize that their voices belong in conversations about justice.
How it started
L.A.W. was founded and is led by a high school student whose interest in international law raised a bigger question: why is it so difficult for young people to find legal education that feels clear, relevant, and genuinely interesting?
What began as a place for comparative-law articles is growing into a broader platform for stories, interactive challenges, youth leadership, projects, and collaboration.
What we do
L.A.W. combines information with participation so visitors can read, explore, respond, and contribute.
Country-by-country guides that introduce different government systems and legal traditions.
Articles and explainers examining legal questions, cases, and issues from around the world.
Short-form stories about unusual cases, legal loopholes, and the moments that changed law.
Legal challenges, questions, projects, and leadership opportunities that invite young people to take part.
What guides us
Clear enough to enter without already knowing the vocabulary.
Interested in how law works across countries—not only in one place.
Built around questions, comparison, and the courage to look closer.
Created with young people, not simply delivered to them.
For schools & organizations
L.A.W. welcomes conversations with schools, youth organizations, educators, legal professionals, and community partners. Possible collaborations include educational content, workshops, student programs, resource sharing, and youth opportunities.
